7th ANNUAL GOLF SCRAMBLE AT INDIAN CANYON
Despite the rainy weather it was a smashing success. We want to thank everyone who participated whether you golfed,
solicited golfers, prizes, goodies bag items, took our pictures or supported in any other ways. A special thank you to
our sponsors: Kalispel Tribe, Specialty Homecare Lifeline, Ott/Knott Golf Carts, Hennessey Funeral Home, The Insurance Guys,
Care to Stay Home, Washington Trust Bank, Heritage Funeral Home, Banner Furnace & Fuel, Subway, Spokane Roofing,
Care to Stay Home, and KXLY. You make this an affordable tournament for our players and a successful fund raiser
for a worthy cause. This is exciting to see the tournament grow to having 92 players signed up! Thanks to Marc Peterson
from KXLY for playing and being the MC for our awards program. But please next year get the weather report correctly
dialed in to SUNSHINE! Thanks to Doug Phares, the Pro at Indian Canyon, for a great job. Thanks to Andy Niska for all
of your hard work and moral support for this event.
The results are as follows: Men’s Division was won by Jason Tusa’s Team, Mixed Division by Paula Davis’s Team, and
Ladies Division was won by the River Bank Team. Men’s Longest Drive went to Michael Shriver and Ladies
Longest Drive to Diane Malmoe. Men’s Closest to the Pin went to Steve Quaid and Ladies Closest to the Pin to
Donna Kenney. Ross Kelley from the Park Board won the 50/50 drawing. Special thanks to Paula Davis for your time,
dedication and support of Corbin.
So save a time for us next June and we will do it all over again!
