Billiards

Corbin hosts two billiard tables where you can enjoy a fun game of pool.  Enjoy with your friends, come to meet a friend or come for a relaxing solo game! The pool room is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm for members to enjoy. $1.00 donation to play!

Cribbage

Cribbage, or crib, is a card game traditionally for two players, but commonly played with three, four or more, that involves playing and grouping cards in combinations which gain points. Cribbage has several distinctive features: the cribbage board used for score-keeping, the eponymous crib or box (a separate hand counting for the dealer), two distinct scoring stages (the play and the show) and a unique scoring system including points for groups of cards that total fifteen.

Fearless Painting with Acrylic Painting Fun: Level One

Create beautiful art using acrylic paints on canvas or paper the fearless way! This enjoyable art class will teach you how to continue using acrylic paints with innovative methods and tools. Watch step by step demonstrations that will inspire you, have fun painting and being creative as you improve your landscape, floral and abstract ¿paint it your way¿ skills. Mexican Train

Mexican Train is a game played with dominos. The object of the game is for a player to play all the dominoes from his or her hand onto one or more chains, or "trains", emanating from a central hub or "station". The game's most popular name comes from a special optional train that belongs to all players. However, the game can be played without the Mexican Train; such variants are generally called "Private Trains" or "Domino Trains".  Cost 0.50 cents per person

Monday Night Dance

After a lifetime of cutting a rug from one era of music to the next, join this active group of seniors every Monday night for light refreshments, a great live band, and all the dancing you can handle.  All ages welcome and no need to sign up ahead of time.  Just show up Mondays at 7:00pm for a great evening of fun. Cost $5 per person.

Mondays at 7pm August Special is 2 for 1 entrance fee, when bringing a new person to the dance. August 16th is a Luau themed Dance!!!!!!!!!!!

Pilates- Yoga Strength

Enjoy a hybrid workout that incorporates the principles of sports stretch, strength training, conditioning, movement and balance. The goal is to increase your strength, flexibility and balance, along with reducing stress and improving your overall fitness level. Students must be able to sit, stand and kneel. Bring a mat and water.

Pinochle

Pinochle is a trick taking card game typically for two to six players.  While there are many variations of the game Corbin plays 2 types.  The Wednesday and Friday morning games are double deck from 8 am to 11:30 am.  Cost 0.50 cents per person!  The Wednesday afternoon group plays 4 handed from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.  Cost is $1.    Stop by to play we will teach you how or refresh your knowledge.

Scrabble

If you consider yourself a competitive wordsmith, then you'll want to join our Friday afternoon round of Scrabble.  The classic game that pits ones wit and knowledge of the dictionary is a house favorite and is sure wrap up your week with joy.  Who knows, you might even a learn a new word or two before its done!  Cost is 0.50 cents per person.

As the days and years go by our bodies could always use a little tender love and care.  Join your friends at Corbin on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for a stretch and tone class designed to enhance mobility, flexibility, and strength. If you like to move, dance, and get your tap groove on join Joan and her magnificent group of tap dancing grandmas.  From beginners to the experienced, you will practice amazing choreography while exercising your youthful desire to dance. Wii Bowling

Who says video games are just for kids? Utilizing the Nintendo Wii, Corbin members can enjoy a competitive heart felt game of bowling.  The motion activated system recreates the motions of actual bowling ensuring persons of all physical health levels and hit the lanes.  Call Mary Kay on Wednesday afternoons to plug in your spot for this fun activity.

Yoga for Wholeness

Learn and practice the fundamentals of basic yoga poses in a sequence designed to improve and maintain health and vitality in all systems of your body. Focus is on strength, balance, and flexibility with an awareness of proper posture and breath. Calm your mind, relax your body, and connect to your spirit. Chair modifications are available. Please bring a yoga mat.
