Come and join us for some fresh picked berries, or berries that are transformed into delicious treats.

First stop and most magnificent is the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most famous game area.  Known for the annual wildebeest migration, the area boasts a large population of animals, so game viewing is good year round.  During five game drives, keep your eyes open for elephant, rhino, giraffe, topi, hyena, lion, and much more.  Beyond the Maasai Mara, visit Mount Kenya National Park, where your treetop lodge gives you unobstructed views of the waterhole that attracts elephant and buffalo.  You’ll also enjoy a guided forest walk with a naturalist followed by a bush breakfast.  In Lake Nakuru National Park search for flamingo, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, Cape buffalo, impala, and more. SEPTEMBER 24 & 25, 2019 Tour Leader:  Judith Miley

Experience the life of a hired hand on this “Dude Ranch” during an Old West Adventure you won’t want to miss.  We begin our tour by taking the Keller Ferry over to the San Poil on our way to the Ranch.  Upon arrival hop aboard the ATVs to see the Longhorn cattle and have a wonderful picnic at a small lake.  The running pigs are so funny to watch and a cow is waiting for you to try your hand at milking.  Ride a horse (extra fee), play horseshoes, go fishing, (many more activities available) have a drink at the bar, enjoy an evening campfire with s’mores before turning in for the night.  The next day we will head to Republic to visit the Stonerose Interpretive Center and Fossil site.  We will also learn about the history of the Great Northern Railway and its influence on this area.  Next, we travel to Curlew Lake where we will enjoy the views and eat lunch at the State Park.  Returning home, there will be photo opportunities through beautiful Sherman Pass.  This is an overnight excursion you’ll never forget.  Rooms sleep two to 4 people.  Meals included in price.
