The Wonder Building

Thursday, December 9  - 10:30 - 2:00 p.m. The Wonder Building Tour Leader: Jan Charbonneau Have you ever wondered what’s in the Wonder Building?  Well, let’s go see!  The Wonder Building, at 835 N. Post Street, tells the story of American industrialization in Spokane.  The Spokane Bakery was built in 1909 as one of the largest, most modern bread bakeries in the Pacific Northwest, and it made Spokane a leader in commercial bread baking, warehousing, and distribution.  The success of the Spokane Bakery forever changed the way people got bread, as baking moved from home to factory.  The Wonder Spokane block includes a food hall with creative cuisine and entertainment, premium loft-design office space, 21st century amenities, and an on-site parking garage.  After our tour, we will have lunch at the Wonder Building. Included: Tour leader, transportation (food & beverage on your own).

Trip Cost $15.00 | Non-member $20.50
